Hello and welcome to my secret hideout. Today I will explain to you the most important feature in a legion's totem. All of the small stuff like how to activate it and how to navigate through it is left up to you to explore.
Basically, the totems gain stars as legion members register their pets.
But why does some totem get 8* while other only get 7 * or even less?
The answer is simple: Totem * is calculated by the top 5 registered pets. The calculation is based on the pet's star ranking, not how much stars it has.
For example: One of LoH's 8* totem is the warrior pdefmdef. Top 5 pets in that totem are star ranked in 1, 3, 4, 10, and 15.
Heres how to calculate them. Most of you would already know about this.
star ranked 1 eudemon= 20 pots
star ranked 3= 18
star ranked 4= 15
star ranked 10=15
star ranked 15= 13
Add it all up and you'll get 81 pots.
Now take 81 and divide it by 10, then you'll get 8.1. <<<which is our 8* totem.
The results must be rounded down, so if we have a totem that adds up to 79 pots, then thats just a 7* totem and we'll have to work harder to gain another pot for totem to be 8*.
There are many active totems in legion, but only 8 top totems will be counted toward legion Pot.
Maximum * a totem can reach is 8, which gives 8 pots
Again, the maximum totems that will be counted is 8, so 8 times 8= 64
So, the maximum pot a legion can get is only 64.
Only other way to get a totem to star up is by enchanting it, which only the legion leader/deputies can do.
The cost for an enchantment is not cheap, and the effect only last for a month.
Which is why our legion fund is empty every month.
Hope that helps. Now go work your butt off to get your star ranking up =P
