An Equipment Guide Empty
PostSubject: An Equipment Guide   An Equipment Guide Icon_minitimeWed Nov 26, 2008 4:57 pm

In my experience playing this game, I've noticed a lot of people mention Eudemons over Gears. Generally it is true, but nobody seems to really bring up gears.

First of all, quality. You always want more then a normal type of equipment. Their is refine (Adds 1 potency), unique (Adds 2 potency), elite (adds 3potency), and super (adds 4 potency). Refines cost from 100k-300k or 1-3 ep. Uniques can cost from 250k-500k or 3-6 ep. Elites can cost from 800k-2mil or 8-20ep. Super can cost from 15mil-50mil or 150-500ep [All not counting sockets].

A good idea is to look for level matching gears before buying lower levels. A level matching equipment gives you an extra 1 potency per equipment. Does not exactly sound like much, but 6 extra potency from all level matching gears is good for any level person.

Next topic is bonus endow, the most annoying part of gears. Bonus endow is where you add the + to your equipment, it may succeed or fail with a normal yellow stone, and 100% success for an extra +1 with a super yellow stone. The + can raise the stats of your equipment and make it stronger, but can also give you potency. Say from helmet down to sword you had these bonuses;

+5
+3
+12
+7
+12
+4

This would increase your potency by 3, because it takes the minimal number from all your bonuses and adds them together.

Sockets are nice to have, but pricey to own. Usually when a type of armor equipment comes with a socket, it will have +12 bonus on it. It is always better to find one of those. A socket with no gem will give you 1 extra potency. It is not wise to put a gem you will regret in a socket, because it does cost something, and that something will disappear when removing and placing a new one in. NEVER use a normal gem; they are just not worth placing in. Always go for refine gem, or
super gem.

Refined gems are used for the broke and needy, to the big spenders. Most commonly used gems because they offer the cheapest mid-class help. Super gems are highly expensive, and not exactly worth it I've found. However, you get 1 extra pot for having 1 super gem in equipment. The different types of gems are:

Amber - Gives potency (For weapons, boots, necklace & helmet)

Beryl - Increases defence (For Armor/Robe, and helmet)

Citrine - Increases attack (For weapons, boots, necklace & helmet)

Amythest - Increase Duribility (For all equipment)

These days potency is all that matters, so it is best to have ambers in your weapons, boots, necklace and bracelet, and what you wish in your helmet and armor/robe.

Now on upgrading equipment in different ways. You can increase the level using violet stones (may fail), and super violet stones (100% success). Upgrading the quality is used by redstones (may fail), or SuperRedstones (100% success), this will put your name on the equipment as well. Example: Maker: ShadowMacc. To put sockets on weapons, it costs 3 redstones to make the first socket, and 10 redstones to make the second socket. Armor is much harder to put a socket in, you must
use a MoonBox for the first socket, and a SuperMoonBox for the second socket, which are HIGHLY expensive and rare.

Now that I`ve taught you all you need to know about equipment, get to work on building some fine equipment. If you manage to get all Super +12 2 socket with all super gems, you can get approx. 70 extra potency, which is about two 25-30* star ranked demons.
